So…what about me you ask…
I’m a nut for volunteering in my community these past 26 years. The Rhododendron Festival was my first volunteer effort. Next I became “President For Life” for the” Great Port Townsend Kinetic Sculpture Race”. From that point I was involved with Kiwanis, coaching PT High School Girls Basketball, Eccho, City of PT Planning Commissioner and Park & Recreation Commissioner. I co-chaired MOCCA (Make Our City County Affordable & Accountable). We change the form of government from a Mayor Council form to a City Manager Council form of government. This was a two &1/2 year commitment. I also was a Charter board member and Past President of the Board of Directors to the Jefferson County Family YMCA including 2005 “Volunteer of the Year” and Founding Board Member of CARA (Community Arts and Recreation Alliance) which has now become “The Recyclery” a non-motorized biking community organization. I also volunteer for Centrum for the Arts at Fort Worden State Park, and for the Washington State University Annual Farm Tour.

Why choose me to be your LISTING agent? My approach to a listing is the same approach as I took when I served for years as a City of Port Townsend Planning Commissioner. I call it my Three Step Process.
First gather the reach, discuss options and make recommendations. Then you as the owner work with me to stage your home. One on my high-end listing this summer I recommended that a walk-in closet be added to the marvelous master bedroom suite which the owner did. I purchased several items as well as my personal stage item and set up the home. After a month, the home was ready to put on the market. The seller had three offers in the first week. Her home sold in twenty days, cash sale, and best of all $10,000 over listing price. This is what all my due-diligence is about.
Second Step is Advertising your home. I believe that a picture is worth a thousand words so most of my listings I hire a professional photographer. One that not only shoots fabulous interior photos but also takes drown aerial photos of property, views, and enhanced pictures of the exterior of your home. As a Five Star Zillow Broker your home is assured that more buyers will view your property on line. There is no detail to small. I work all the websites by adding details and sometime extra photos. I want to give a buyer as much information as possible. Getting the buyer into your home by using my top notch advertising program is what will sell your home.
Third Step is getting an offer, if not multi offers, in today’s market place. Next comes contract neoglaciations, working through time lines, keeping open communications with buyer’s agent, mortgage broker, Title Company, and Escrow Company and of course you’re the seller. You may ask yourself why I would be in touch with the buyer’s lender? Simple! I want to know how the loan is progressing so that I can keep you the seller informed every step of the way. And finally, all the small details regarding closing like transfer of keys, garage door openers, utilities, home owner’s association details for the buyer’s agent just to name a few tasks that I take care of as your Broker.
Some agents take a listing and sit back on their Loral’s. You will NEVER have that situation with me. Today many of my closest friend now are past clients. Your agent should be one of the closest relationship you will have. Short term but still incredibly import to assure a successful sale of your home.
